On August 22nd ,2023  the press conference for the 2023 World Match Racing Tour (WMRT) Shenzhen Bao'an Final was held in Bao`an Shenzhen.

8月22日，2023年世界帆船对抗巡回赛（WMRT）深圳·宝安总决赛暨世界湾区帆船赛新闻发布会在深圳宝安举行。

Good afternoon! On behalf of World Sailing and personally, I would like to extend my warmest greetings to all participants of the press conference for the 2023 World Match Racing Tour (WMRT) Shenzhen · Bao’an Final & World Bay Area Regatta.

下午好！我谨代表世界帆船联合会，并以我个人名义，向出席2023年世界帆船对抗巡回赛（WMRT）深圳·宝安总决赛暨世界湾区帆船赛新闻发布会的各位嘉宾，表示诚挚的问候！

 

World Sailing serves as a dedicated advocate for the sport of sailing and the sailing industry, while the WMRT stands as a pivotal Special Event of World Sailing. Situated at the heart of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Bao’an District in Shenzhen is poised to host the WMRT Final for its first time, which coincides with the launch of the World Bay Area Regatta. This event will stand as a highly anticipated highlight within the global sailing calendar at the end of this year.

世界帆船联合会是世界帆船运动和帆船产业的推动者，世界帆船对抗巡回赛是世界帆联重要的特别赛事，深圳宝安作为粤港澳大湾区的核心区域，今年将首次独立举办世界帆船对抗巡回赛全球总决赛，并将同步创立世界湾区帆船赛，这是今年年底世界帆船运动领域非常值得期待的压轴大赛！

 

The decision to entrust the WMRT Final to Bao’an, Shenzhen, is underscored by World Sailing's recognition of the immense potential harbored within Shenzhen and Bao’an District. It is a testament to our confidence in the event-organizing prowess of Shenzhen and Bao’an, as well as our appreciation for the stunning coastlines of Bao’an. With enthusiasm, we anticipate Bao’an’s masterful execution to unveil two spectacular sailing races to the global audience this coming December.

世界帆船对抗巡回赛全球总决赛落户深圳宝安，是我们世界帆船大家庭对深圳和宝安的认同和期待，是对于宝安美丽的海岸线、对于深圳和宝安的举办能力和整体组织能力的认同。希望深圳宝安能够做好东道主，在12 月为全世界呈现两场精彩的帆船大赛。
